I've used a Leatherman 'Kick' every day, for many years then thought I lost it so purchased the Leatherman Super Tool-300. Recently I found the 'Kick' and continue wearing and using it. Why? It is much lighter. The Super tool-300 has great build quality and is more versatile. The pliers are precise enough to pull slivers but the weight is also pulling my senior belted hip less pants down. Other than that it's a great tool which will be even greater when I purchase a wide pair of suspenders. In my view it is losing a star for being too heavy.

I've got two Waves which I really like, but on suggestion of a co-worker I got the Super Tool. Wow. I'm an electrician and other then a red Robbie and voltage tester, it's basically a small tool pouch in itself. I've used one to do almost everything regarding repairing slot machines. And now, highway lighting, ballast replacement, mechanical repair.... the Super Tool just quietly takes my abuse and never fails.
