I have several of Lee Bailey's cookbooks and really like them (Cooking for Friends, The Way I Cook, Country Weekends) and was REALLY looking forward to using this book. But I was very disappointed in these recipes--the soups and combinations just left me cold. Lentil, Fennel and Cress Soup. (I'm shrugging my shoulders) Lamb, pumpkin and Lima Bean Soup. (I'm making a face) Duck, turnip and squash soup. (Shaking my head). I'm not that parochial in my eating habits, but these combos just don't speak to me. They may float someone else's boat; but I haven't pulled this book off the shelf since I bought it.
