a valuable book for leech therapy Dec 24 2011

It tells you almost everything you need to know about leech therapy as beginner. You also will find prescriptions for different conditions, where to apply, step by step instructions and many more. I bought many books but only 2 books were good. This is one of them.

Thorough and very accessible April 3 2012
By Christina Lacape - Published on Amazon.com

Clarity is one of the rarest things in contemporary writing, certainly in fiction and also in non-fiction. Considering the entire point of most non-fiction is to describe or present something real clearly and accurately, that is a real shame. Leech Therapy is incredibly clear and never becomes overly wordy or pretentious. If you are looking to learn about this alternative therapy, this is absolutely the place to start.

This book helped me to heal my wife to decrease her blood pressure .So it is fantastic how these wonderful beings work on the human body. It is true and for the people who believe in this kind of therapy this book is the thing that has to be in their house.

To the Author Matt Isaac

I bought your book on Amazon and read it in a day.

The book is worth the money and I am better educated for having read it.

I think you did an excellent job in organizing the material and in encouraging the reader, regardless of the high proportion of art that is involved with working with leeches for improved health. For my use, your approach of starting with an experienced and successful practitioner, then, when obvious, applying leeches on oneself is the sweet spot.

I have to travel a good distance to find a practitioner, at least that seems the case from web searching. I am sure that even finding one does not necessarily mean I have found the one for me. Such is life.

Thank you for your fine effort in creating this book. I recommend this book to those who are new to this subject as I am.

Not worth it May 13 2012

I bought the Kindle edition because it was cheaper. This is NOT worth $9.95. I mean, ok, I guess the title does say it's only an "introduction" to leech therapy, but I was hoping for SOME information other than the free info that is already posted on the few websites I have found. The book basically says- leeches are good, people have used them a long time, blah blah, and gives you an overview of that. It feels thrown together from slightly conflicting sources.

There are some diagrams of where you might place leeches, but nothing other than what I would have already guessed at myself. The diagrams are similar and correspond to acupuncture point diagrams, points along the spine and back, etc. The author is careful to say that he can't tell you what ones to try, you have to talk to a trained specialist. Well, if I lived near a practitioner, I would talk to one. But, I don't. So I had really hoped to learn something from a book. There are a lot of statements like- leeches can help infertility or leeches can help migraines, but then no further insight or explanation.
