5.0 out of 5 stars Revenge is a dish better served cold!, Jan 14 2011
By Michelle L. Beck "Always the Devourer of Good... - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Left for Undead: A Crimson Moon Novel (Mass Market Paperback)
Left for Undead" finds the mated pair (Sasha and Hunter) relaxing and recuperating from their last mission in a cabin in the woods of New Hampshire. But as usual, there is no rest for the weary, when a ally and a close relative (Shogun, Hunter's brother) requests their assistance with some sensitive situations. Shogun is worried that his pact won't accept his mate and Garth wants help convincing Sir Rodney that his exiled lover, Queen Cerridwen may not be what she appears. As the two struggle to prevent World War 3, they learn that there are sinister plans in play. Someone wants to start a war by opening vamp lairs using the Queens signature. As Sasha and Hunter follow the clues trying to get to the bottom of who is responsible for these deeds, they also have to navigate the politics between several supernatural creatures (the fae, the weres, the vamps, gargoyles, and Erinyes). There are behind the scenes deals, alliances between some very ruthless and evil supernatural beings, and some very long reaching consequences to actions taken in previous novels (Jung Suk's inhabiting of Amy's body) with unforeseen results. We only hope that the truth comes out before it is too late.

What I enjoyed about this novel was the tidy resolution that LA Banks gave for all of the characters. And while Hunter seems to be more possessive and protective of Sasha, he has finally come to terms about his mate's relationship with his brother. His brother (Shogun) has taken steps towards his future and finding happiness. Sasha has grown stronger and finally seems at peace with her decision about her life and mate. There is no long lasting tension between Shogun, Sasha and Hunter. Sasha's extended family and team are all safe and stronger than ever. All real issues are resolved and Banks even offers a glimpse into their futures . This was a wonderful conclusion to a brilliant series that will be missed but not forgotten. And I for one cannot wait to see what Banks has up her sleeves for the future.
