This review deals more with the condition of the media, and not with the stories themselves.

I loved these stories as I read them years ago. Bought this set to complete my collection.

However...
The books seem to be fine, but the shrink wrapped boxset they are in is crushed in at the top sides. Not exactly the top notch condition that was advertised.

The UPS box it came in was fine, and showed no marks or damage. The damage must have happened before being boxed for delivery.

Normally my Amazon orders are all in great condition, but they are new books. This one is a few years old and was probbaly kicking around the wearhouse for a while. Also took a week or two longer than the new books to get shipped to me.

I may not be a professional critic, but I know what I like! When I settle down to read a fantasy book I want heroes, villains, magic, fighting, and characters you can love. This series gives you all of that and more!

I very rarely read books more than once, but these books I'd be willing to read again and again!

I read lots of books of different kinds and the Drizzt story is by far my favorite. It is also extremely well written.
