Amazon.ca Product Description

When an evil darkness enshrouds the land of Hyrule, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero - and the animal - within. When Link travels to the Twilight Realm, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious girl named Midna. Classic Legend of Zelda gameplay is blended seamlessly with the power and unique control of the Wii console. With incredibly precise aiming (pick your target with the bow, draw the controller back and release the "bow string" to fire) as well as gesture based sword and shield play (bash your foes with your shield by striking out with the nunchuck controller) and unique motion sensitive elements (fishing has never been so fun!) Twilight Princess offers a revolution in gaming. Ride into battle against troops of foul creatures using an amazing horseback combat system, then take on massive bosses that must be seen to be believed. Take up your sword, young Hyllian, Save the Princess!

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality over Quantity, Jan 10 2007

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (Video Game)
Coming soon to a Wii near you! He howls! He sniffs! He digs! He smiles! He ....shows expression?!? He saves Hyrule! TADA! It's Link - by golly! It's the one and only green-clad hero from the Province of Ordon to save Hyrule from being overthrown by Twilight!

Complete with cinematics and a fabulous storyline, complete with snazzy overly classic Hyrule details and characterization, this is definatley a game worth playing over and over!

Heck - I'm on my second round of gameplay (finished it a month ago) and it took me just under 80 hours to finish. This time around I've decided to explore the vast caves, collect things and by far this is topping any other Zelda game! The storyline - aided by characters of Hyrule, also add to the fun factor.

There is so much to this game that just all around makes it spectaular, the launch of new items for greater gameplay and little things that make you jaw drop while the story takes turns that I've never seen in Zelda. I could go on for hours about this game, but I'll spare you so you can go buy it and play it for yourself!

4.0 out of 5 stars Twilight Princess Review, Jan 25 2012
Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (Video Game)
This game is high fun in very good graphics, if only there was more time right? Anyhow my only regret in buying this game is that I bought two by accident. The nicest thing in this series is the hero gets his first weapon very quickly although in skyward sword he gets it later on the first weapon he gets is much better and the control is 1:1 with your wii remote where as in twilight princess the sword does not follow your motion precisely which is slightly disappointing however I am looking forward to the hero's wolf transformation and perhaps this feature makes up for the lack of control accuracy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing game with a major flaw, Feb 6 2007

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (Video Game)
Ok let me say this first this game was well thought up and produced it is beautiful and incredibly fun.
The Good:
The game never really slows down or came to a point where I put it down for a week or something (which is rare for me). The story is excellent and the use of the wolf was incredibly cool and refreshing for the series. Battle was incredible the Wii allows for battle to be brought to a new level. Horseback fighting probably the most fun had in the game it was done so well that I have one of my games saved at the first Horse battles. Overall the boss fights were fun and the temples were not redundant and overly boring. and NO NAVI with that annoying "Hey listen"
The Bad:
Overall the game was too easy it is ridiculous when I get through 6 straight boss fights without getting hurt. and in the last boss fight I lost a grand total of 1/2 a heart. I play alot of games but I don't consider myself an elite gamer so this was dissapointing. The characters need voices. I know its a style choice but even if it remains the jibberish I think that all the major scenes need major characters to have some sort of voice so your not just reading with dead noise in the backround. Finally the music the orchastrated music was only at the end where was it for the rest of the game.

Even thought here is bad there is in every game I still suggest everyone buy this game and play it because it is that good but there was a gaping hole for me in the difficulty. Still a must own
