The game itself covers the first four books/films in the Harry Potter series and each of the four years has several levels to complete. The game holds true to that magical charm that makes the series special. The world outside of the levels is worthy of being explored and is exactly what you would expect from any Harry Potter game. Places such as Hogwarts, Diagon Alley (where you can buy new characters and spells) and the Leaky Calderon. You can also unlock and play bonus levels at Gringotts. The Lego series adds to the experience with the famous comedic charm it is known for including in its games.
The game has tons of collectibles and unlockables that add to the level replay value and they can keep you busy for a long while if you're into that. Things such as exploring Hogwarts, learning new spells and replaying levels with your new spells in order to open new areas is all part of that experience.
If you're a Harry Potter fan and are looking for something different and maybe a nice nostalgic trip, this game is worth your time.
That being said, the majority of the game was enjoyable.
