Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Video Game)
The game controls are very easy to use. The game play is a lot of fun. There are levels that I find challenging and there are sections that my 5 year old can play (we often play together). The cut scenes are hilarious! The only drawback to this game is the fact that it doesn't have split screen for multiplayer games.

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Video Game)
This game is a blast! I have heard that if you own previous Lego Star Wars games, levels may be repetitive. For me, it was all new and such fun to play. The game includes all 6 Star Wars episodes and each episode involves 6 levels to play through. The levels vary from running around through Dagobah, chasing Zam Wessell, to the Mos Espa pod race. The first time through a level you play Story mode, where you play certain characters and watch (frankly hilarious) cutscenes. Lego sums up the story, captures the general plot, and injects action and humour into the game. After Story mode is complete, you can replay levels in Freeplay mode. In essence, you can switch between different types of characters to more thoroughly explore each level. Certain characters can perform certain abilities. For example, a jedi can move certain objects with the force, bounty hunters can blow up metallic objects with special bombs, small characters can crawl through hatches, etc. This is where the replay value of Lego Star Wars comes into play: each level has minikits to find, red bricks to unlock, and challenges to choose. Even if the actual completion of the game doesn't take you as long as other adventure games, it's really the replay and collectibles that you'll get hooked on. Bonus levels, two player arcade, and Bounty Hunter missions are also extra things to complete. This game can be played with two players and it is a really enjoyable game to play with someone else - even in story mode, it's funny to see who you'll wind up playing (ex. Yoda and Chewie!), and working together to complete a level and find the collectibles. If that's not enough, you can customize your own character to play in Freeplay. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga isn't a difficult game to master and it's not gory; characters die by falling into pieces in true Lego fashion. It's fun, smart, and has tons to do which is why I recommend it.
