This review is from: Lenmar CBB350 Replacement Battery for SONY BPT50 (Office Product)
We got three of these to replace batteries in heavily used v-tech phones. These phones are often carried around and left off the base, so they need a pretty good charge. The original batteries used to last up to four days off the base, but now only last for about 5-6 hours, including about an hour of talking time. The new batteries don't even handle that much time! Absolute dreck. I charged one of the phones normally and tested the battery, leaving it off the base. 6 hours later it was dead--no talking time at all. I wasn't sure if it was sufficiently charged or exactly when it died. So I left it charging for three days (deliberate overkill), but, again, it was dead within 6 hours. I am putting old batteries back in. Money completely wasted.
BIG UPDATE! After failing to retain charge the first two weeks, now all three batteries we ordered are working perfectly and keep charge for nearly a week off the stand. There is not question replacing the old batteries was the right thing to do. It's unfortunate that it took so long to figure it out. I've checked all charger and battery contacts and they are all in order. So the must be some inherent reason for the initial failure. Note that each battery was charged for at least 20-24 hours before use, so it was not a question of insufficient charging time. My apologies for the initial review--normally, you don't expect problems to "just fix themselves".
