Ahh "Let It Bleed" in 192/24 DTS-HD Master Audio it really can't sound any better then this. I have listened to this well over a 100 times in my life and thru all the formats nothing sounds as clear and full as this Blu ray. The record it's self, in my opinion, is their first Masterpeice and there is not a bad track on it. With songs like "You Can't Always Get What You Want", "Monkey Man" and "Gimme Shelter" this album definatly stands as one of Rock's classic records. This with "Sticky Fingers" and "Exile On Main Street" make up the Stones triple punch. The three records were done in a row and stand as the highest peak in the Stones career.
If you are a fan of the record and have a Blu ray player hooked up to a home entertainment system it is worth the $20. I promise you it will be like hearing it the first time.
So when are "Sticky Fingers" and "Some Girls" coming?

This CD was advertised as being a SACD hybrid, but in reality it is an impressive remastered version and is most definitely NOT SACD. You would think Amazon would be a little more careful about how they advertise (i.e. misrepresent) their products. However, that being said, the sound quality on this version is very impressive, even if not true SACD. Great album.

This may be my favorite Rolling Stones record. This was their second release in an incredible series of 4 albums released from 1968 to 1972 (Beggar's Banquet through Exile On Main Street). I have listened to this album countless times, and hearing it now on blu-ray audio I am hearing things that I have never heard before. The vocal chorus on "You Can't Always Get What You Want" in particular is overwhelming.

It is a bit of a waste to release a Blu-ray Audio disc and not have it in 5.1 surround sound. True. The versions of stereo isn't bad [although I'm not sure who'd ever use PCM stereo over Dolby Tru-HD or DTS-HD Master Audio]. Also too bad no extras. The card to download FLACs is a nice touch but unfortunately they are lower quality audio files - not HD Tracks FLAC files.
Of course I can't say anything negative about the album. Personally I think I prefer it over Exile as my favourite Stones album in the "early" years.

If you are buying this CD to get a SACD version like I did (and as advertised on Amazon's website), don't bother. Amazon sends the regular CD version in the plastic case. The sacd version comes in a cardboard digipak which they don't seem to know. So... you spend a premium and get the wrong, less expensive version... alas the trials and tribulations of shopping on the internet. I just wish they wouldn't advertise this as a SACD-hybrid if they don't know the difference.

Absolutely amazing record. It was in mint condition brand new as described! The vinyl itself is clear and absolutely awesome to look @ and listen to - highly recommended. It arrived quicker than expected which was also a bonus!

Like many others, this is my fourth purchase of this recording because of the various formats it has been offered over the decades since its release. And the recording is excellent. No vinyl crackle, no cassette tape hiss, no bland CD. This Blu Ray is vibrant and clear. Do yourself a favour if you love the Stones or only like them, get this recording in this format.
