5.0 out of 5 stars Another great Jones effort, Jan 30 2007
By Book Mom - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Let Me Come in (Paperback)
I am so glad I found Linda Jones! I have read several of her stories and have enjoyed them all. This is one of the best so far, with a slightly darker storyline than some of her others. Benjamin Wolfe is a devoted son who lives to destroy the family of the man who ruined Ben's father. The unfairness of his crusade (it's not the daughters fault that their father hurt Ben's) made my heart ache, but at the same time I could relate to wanting avenge a beloved parent at any cost. But he falls in love with the object of his plan, Celia, even as he can't help but ruin her bit by bit. And she falls in love with him, even as he does this. Jones makes it very believable that these two enemies could still care about one another so much. And though I could not see how these two warring lovers could work it all out in a realistic way, Jones made it happen. Give this absorbing, disturbing, delightful fairy tale a try. I think you'll be as captured as I was!

2.0 out of 5 stars The three little pigs with a twist!, Dec 29 2002
By Brenda Condit "satinskper" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Let Me Come in (Paperback)
Well I've now read several of the Linda Jones, fairy tale books and most have been very cute lite stories that are easy to read and are just perfect for a lazy afternoon.

This book was not up to the standards of the others. I loved the front cover, yum yum! The story was bland. I found the heroine to be a brat. I didn't like her at all. She seemed to be very full of herself. The Hero wasn't very nice either but I liked the hero a bit more but he didn't come alive for me at all.

I wish I could recommend this one but I just can't.
