Young Jeezy.. just another gimmick..., April 15 2006
This review is from: Lets Get It Thug Motivation (Audio CD)
if you like un-tastefull street tales told with the vocabulary of a 6th grader who sounds like he has down syndrome, then i recommend this album. This album is below average lyrically and content wise. there is NOTHING new or fresh, just the same recycled mainstream hip-hop garbage (guns, bling, rims, cars). I give it 2 stars because of the decent production it has. Young Jeezy sounds like a cheap T.I rip off. I am very disappointed with this album. Why i bought it in the first place? even i cant figure that out. Although if you are looking for an album with good production and half-witted lyrics, i recommend you check out "Urban Legend" or the new "king" by T.I. They both sound the same, but with T.I at least you get some class.

Young Jeezy - Let's Get It Thug Motivation 101, Feb 19 2006
This review is from: Lets Get It Thug Motivation (Audio CD)
This album kind of took some time to grow on me, because Jeezy is sort...Too gangsta for me anyway. But the album is very very enjoyable. It hits hard and I had to listen to his rhymes over and over to get the real meaning and Jeezy REALLY thought them through...very impressive. Spotlight tracks : Standing Ovation, Gangsta Music, Go Crazy (I would've added a "IT'S YOUNG JEEZY" riding the horns in the chorus), Trap Star, Don't Get Caught, Soul Survivor, Talk To Em and Air Forces The rest are either fillers or not that great and non notable
