Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in Salzburg in 1756 and died in 1791.

I purchased this for my husband, who absolutely loves everything Mozart. I ended up reading it myself and it is so endearing. There are letters from Mozart's crazy father and other letters from Mozart to his mother and sister. (And many others). My favorite, however, are the letters from Mozart to his wife. His personality in these letters is so jolly and upbeat, yet you can tell that there were underlying problems.This is such an interesting, personal peek into the life of a musical genious packaged in a small, hardcover package. A perfect gift for someone else or for yourself.
