Best of the best, Jan 3 2009
By A Reader - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Letting Go: A Little Bit at a Time (Paperback)
This little book is such a joy! Guy Finley's The Secret of Letting Go is one of my favorite books of all time. And this book, Letting Go A Little Bit at a Time, takes all my favorite quotes from the bigger book, and puts them in a format that is perfect for savoring and mulling over each one. It really is the best of the best. I want so much to let go of all my blockages and all those voices inside my head, and with this book I can focus on one lovely pearl of truth at a time and let it do its work. My whole day can be changed in a moment. Here's an example of just one quote from the book that shows what I'm talking about: "Never accept any negative reaction you may have as the only possible answer to your present challenge." Reading that immediately lifts me out of the dark world my thoughts have created, and gives me a broader view of life with endless possibilities. I will definitely keep this book by my side so I can dive into it again and again.

Every moment is a chance to let go!, Jan 10 2009
By Mimi - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Letting Go: A Little Bit at a Time (Paperback)
There are 365 entries in "Letting Go: A Little Bit at a Time" and every one of them is a jewel. It's amazing how a single sentence can illuminate the mind and help it to drop a troubling burden. Contemplating a daily dose of Truth can really change your day. Here are a few that spoke to me are:
"When you stop punishing others for their weakness you will stop punishing yourself for yours."
"Refuse to revisit your past for a way out of any present problem you face."
"Happiness is letting go of your idea of happiness."
The introductory story in this book is also great. Finley shows how our lives can be changed radically with just the smallest consistent efforts to let go of what the mind insists we must hold on to. Resentment, worry, sadness, etc. There is real Truth here. Highly recommended.

A Perfect Daily Companion, Jan 26 2009
By J. Schnorenberg - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Letting Go: A Little Bit at a Time (Paperback)
Guy's latest book is the perfect daily companion. It contains 365 of his most helpful insights from his best seller "The Secret of Letting Go". Each of them is a "powerful, small hammer" of truth and light that can brighten your day. Here are a couple of examples of these insights that have really helped me.
"You are not tied to any past mistake unless you lash yourself to it."
"See that anytime you feel pained or defeated, it is only because you insist on clinging to what doesn't work. Dare to let go, and you won't lose a thing except for a punishing idea"
The book's small size and short, but powerful thoughts, make it easy to read whenever I have a spare moment during the day: during my morning meditation, at work, before I go to sleep - anytime I need a refreshing reminder of how to find true freedom and peace.
