Book Description

May 11 2010
There are demons of the deep with a hunger that cannot be sated. Evolution has played its role, as has environment. Mankind has contributed, and now Carcharhinus Leucas hunts. Unwary swimmers and boaters, who chance the seas of Ecstasy Shores, Florida, soon become its victims. Danny Ray has a past he would rather forget, and now resides on his luxury yacht docked in the port of Ecstasy Shores. His ship is about to launch on a summer voyage with a group of young students. Danny wasn't looking for love, but love comes nonetheless, and with it a price: Danny's past has come back to haunt him. Just when Danny finally faces his own demons, something comes in with the tide. Everyone at Ecstasy Shores is in the grip of a dark cloud blowing in from the sea that brings with it a monster storm; a storm that unleashes its own monsters of the deep that come in a gigantic size. Leucas has arrived! Taking his inspiration from Peter Benchley's Jaws, author Richard R. Blackston has updated the classic novel with his own twists and turns. He lives in Michigan and is working on several upcoming books. Publisher's website: http://www.strategicpublishinggroup.com/title/Leucas.html

Normally it takes me a year to read a book. However, I read LEUCAS within a week! A MUST read book! From the opening pages, I was transported to Ecstasy Shores, FL and felt as if I was actually there for the duration of the terrifying experience! I quickly created a close bond with all the characters...Danny Ray, with his troubled past life,Delbert, a friend of Danny's, with his job at a familiar, Southern location...Winn Dixie! Dottie and all her friends with their excitement of an anticipated 'relaxing'cruise on Danny Ray's yacht. As terrifying as Jaws...this book will definately keep your attention from the beginning to the end...and, may make you think twice about that swim in the sea!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Once again Mr. Blackston has created a masterpeice. April 7 2011

Move over jaws there is a new predator in town and it goes by the name leucas. Once again Richard R. Blackston has mesmerized me the fact that every book he has written gets better and better. Leucas is one of his best to date. Danny Ray is an everyday joe that has problems like the rest of us until people start to die. Leucas has it all suspense, chills, romance and death. I would hate to be trapt out on the ocean with this monster of a killer, because there is no were to go but to be eaten or survive. And I ask you which would be the harder of the two to do. Richard writes his characters with a passion which shows in them , it is refreshing to read leucas when you can relate to certain characters and their problems, And everyday places you might have been to, none made up you never heard of.So from the bottom of my heart I would like to thanks RICHARD R. BLACKSTON for writting these books, and keep up the good work. I will be waiting in anticipation for the next great adventure.
