The Original Healthy Juicer Manual: Most people know about the extensive health benefits of juicing, but nobody enjoys the process of setting up the juicer and worst of all, cleaning up afterwards. The Healthy Juicer is a rugged, efficient, and best of all - easy to use and clean masticating/cold-press type juicer!
The Healthy Juicer is endorsed and sold by the leaders in the health/wheatgrass industry, like the famous Michael Bergonzi (with a career dedicated to growing and educating about wheatgrass at Optimum Health Institute and Hippocrates Health Institute since 1990!). Founded in 2003 the Healthy Juicer company now boasts over 800 retailers around the United States and distribution in over 5 countries proving our commitment to quality and juice yield!

Live-Enzyme Juicing utilizing the cold-press masticating process
The Healthy Juicer literally takes minutes to disassemble and clean. Simply rinse off with warm soapy water. No metal cutting screens that have hundreds of tiny holes to clog up and must be scrubbed with a brush over and over again. All of the excess waste pulp is neatly expelled out the front of the end cap into a separate bowl for easy disposal. Durable stainless steel inserts on the end cap and tip of the auger where the most force on the crushing is exerted will last a lifetime without wearing out. The patented suction base is rated at over 100lbs of force and securely attaches to any smooth kitchen counter or table.

-Compact, lightweight, easy to put together, easy to wash.
-ECONOMICAL!! Performs extremely well for the money, absolutely best value for wheatgrass.
-No electricity needed. Great for off-gridders, campers, etc., and anyone else who likes the idea of no electricity involved, and appreciates that there is no noise or heat created with this juicer.
There really aren't any. The awkward cup design is the only reason I rated it at 4 stars instead of 5. I read all the reviews on Amazon.com before I went ahead and purchased, and can speak to the following faults others have mentioned:
-Yes, the juice cup is a bit weird. It does not clip on, but just sits up against the unit. If you're not planning to knock the thing around, though (and why would you?), it works perfectly fine. I hold the cup steady with one hand, and crank with the other, no problemo.
-Yes, if you don't tighten the augur head cap properly, it will leak juice. It's very eay to tighten, though, so it's just a case of remembering to check.
-No, it doesn't take a strong person to turn the crank. I'm female, 5'2", 110 lbs, not muscle-y at all, and I have no problem turning it. If you do have trouble, it's because you've seriously overloaded the hopper.
-Yes, you get only some juice per flat of wheatgrass. (1 oz = approx. 30 ml.; one flat will yield between 4-7 oz, or up to about 200 ml.) This is not the fault of the juicer. Anyone who has used other juicers knows this is just the case with wheatgrass, and actually, this juicer does really well. The pulp it ejects is very dry.
-No, you won't want to be juicing flats and flats and flats of wheatgrass a day with a manual juicer.Read more ›
As far as juice yield - the best since I have started juicing 7 years ago. The wheatgrass is bone dry. Spinach and kale are still 'moist' but that is normal and way more extraction than either of the above juicers mentioned.
Quality of build - very happy. Auger is solid, I like the stainless steel inserts.
Portability - I travel a lot. Perfect
Overall, I give it a 5 star. Will give a few to friends for Christmas.
really gets the juice out without leaving much behind
easy to clean an assemble
fun to work with daily
A good choice.
had almost no room to catch the juice. Also the clamp was short that the locking base is very close to the edge
of a mounting table which almost give no room for the juice cup to be in stable position to catch the juice.

Excellent juicer...I juiced kale, parsley and dandelion leaves and it yielded more juice than my motorized centrifugal Breville juicer ever could. Read morePublished 25 days ago by Amazon Customer
juices greens which is what I needed. Takes a bit of time to set up juice and clean up but for the price is worth it.Published 27 days ago by Lisa
I love it
It can actually do herbs and if you feed your other veggies in the right order you can actually get a lot out of it
So happy that I could get this type of juicer at an affordable price. I don't mind that it's not electric.Published 4 months ago by C. Barke
