Among the moments captured on Libraries are Spectoresque walls of reckless sound, cavernous drums, middle-school percussion, and moody swells of stringed instruments, all decorated hastily with stray leads, which bleed beautifully all over everything. "Super-solid chug-along pop songs performed with an almost startling precision on all members' parts." ~ TIME OUT NEW YORK on The Love Language 2009 CMJ performance

I randomly bought this cd the other day and what a great surprise! Layers of sound around simple pop songs and echoed vocal harmonies is a good recipe for me. Apparently I just missed them in my town, but I will be picking up their other cd, which is supposed to be more stripped down. Fans of Papercuts and Camera Obscura will definitely like this one.

I saw "The Love Language" open for Cursive a couple years ago and I fell in love with them. Liking an opening band is a very rare thing for me but these guys made me feel something special. I bought their first album that night and love every track on it. So you can imagine how excited I was to find out that they went in the studio and recorded something new. I am happy to say that they did a great job! The heart and soul on this album just oozes through every track. I love this!

High rotation. Super-smart, multi-layered indie rock. Sounds like a dashboard radio classic in all the best ways.
