There are a few good recordings of these pieces, but nothing comes closer to the core of this music than Cordaria's new recording. The spiritual quality of this interpretation is just mindblowing...you can feel the mystical events unfold through the music, sometimes awesome, sometimes ecstatic or even violent.. the virtuosity of this player knows no bounds, and his continuo players create atmospheres you won't believe! Buy it and listen with the lights out..whether you are religeous or not, this playing will take you to heaven and back!
