Part of a course preparing lower intermediate students for the Oxford Examination in English and a Foreign Language (Preliminary Level) and the ARELS Preliminary Examination, this student's book is accompanied by a teacher's handbook and a set of two cassettes. There are 11 units, each following a theme, and practice exams and progress tests are included. There is also a section on using an English-English dictionary and dictionary activities in several of the units. This is to help students become efficient in using a dictionary which they are allowed to do in the Oxford exam.
