5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant debut of a sadly brief career, April 4 2005

The Lilith Factor was a nominee for Best 1st Novel for the Bram Stoker Awards issued by the Horror Writers of America, and rightly so. I don't remember what won, but I'll never forget this powerfully nightmarish novel. Had Jean lived, says the great British fantasist Tanith Lee, she would have become one of the greatest of contemporary horror writers .. an opinion shared by the Irish novelist Morgan Llywelyn and myself -- which is why I have printed so many of her posthumous stories in my anthologies and in H. P. Lovecraft's Magazine of Horror.

2.0 out of 5 stars What you pay for is what you get., Jun 16 1998

This review is from: Lilith Factor (Paperback)
I picked this book up at a used bookstore for a dollar. After reading the cover of the book, I thought I was going to read about Lilith, the first wife of Adam and what she was doing in the world today. However, there was hardly anything mentioned in this book about the first wife of Adam. The book built up quite a story about persons (namely females) who had specific powers and a conspiracy dealing with HIV. Then it dropped me flat and left me wondering if someone else wrote the ending.
