About the Author
Alan Glynn is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where he studied English Literature, and has worked in magazine publishing in New York and as an EFL teacher in Italy. I enjoyed the movie so much that I wanted to read the book it was based on. It is rather different. The book is more of a morality play, it's darker, it's more personal. I liked it and want to read more of the author's work. The film was edgy and took the basic ideas of the book and put it into a visual language with high energy, major action. They're different - and in a good way.
