2.0 out of 5 stars Jumbled Mess Jan 26 2012
This is a monster, jumbled collection, the overall quality of which - sound and video - is atrocious. Low points: A duet with Johnny Cash, in which Cash seems to be stuck on one note, and that's the wrong one. Another duet with Betty Everett is excruciating, while the really old Stone Poney stuff is truly cringeworthy. High spots: Good versions of Tumblin' Dice, Heart Like a Wheel and Tracks Of My Tears. Is it worth the cash? Hmm, only if you're a devoted fan and enjoy ploughing through a heap of drek to find the few good bits. One day, perhaps, we'll get a collection of Ronstadt's work that does her justice. Until then, I think it'd make more sense to log into YouTube, which has got better videos (and sound) than most of the stuff here - and it's free (for now).

Great archival performances! Unfortunately though, the producers of this dvd sqeezed 2hrs and 7 mins. of video on to a dvd5 disc, and as a result the video quality suffers a lot at times. 5 stars for the performances, and worth owning.
