The best new band out of Canada since the last great band...,

I can't believe how great this band is, and how little attention they've garnered relative to the music caliber. Canada has this recent history of precious bands that arrive far above our current tastemaker's skills - Lioness are in a rare handful of reverant worthy bands, that singlehandedly justify the overwhelming bulk of schlock we're forced to endure. Recent Canadian Bands like Death From Above 1979, Crystal Castles, Metric, Broken Social Scene, Black Mountain, Feist, Beast, the New Pornographers (half of Arcade Fire), and NOW? Lioness.
I kid you not, every song on Lioness' EP is going to rock you, get you dancing, singing, listening intently and shaking your head in amazement. Every song. This band, if & when they get their audience, will EASILY be up there with dance rock legends like the Black Keys, QOTSA, Crystal Castles and MGMT. Except they're better. RIDICULOUS I"m the first reviewer; the rest of you should be ashamed. Thank you Lioness.
