The coloring book has wonderful pictures to go along with the poems; however, the person reading the poems on the CD sounds like a hypnotic witch! I've asked 3 people to listen to her and they all agree that she sounds too creepy for little kids. If you purchase this, just plan on using the coloring book.

I stumbled onto this book by chance, and based on the few pic.'s I could see with the Google search tool bought it. Lucky me, I love these illustrations by Thea Kliros. This is a listen and color, it comes with a 60 minute CD featuring time honored favorites like "Little Boy Blue", " The Owl and the Pussy-cat", and is narrated by Susanne Toren. 39 illustrations to color. The illustrations are clean, very nicely done, and very cute. I am extremely glad I got this, even though I have no children. I bought this solely to color the illustrations, which made this book worth owning for me. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who colors, whether you have children or not. The illustrations speak for themselves. This book would also make a cherished gift.
