"Vibrant and fun."  —Black Issues Book Review

Product Description

Young children will learn an important and valuable lesson about sharing through this wonderfully illustrated and fun book written by NFL star Terrell Owens. Little T is a boy who doesn't want to share his new football; he is afraid that his friends might mess it up. When he tries to play by himself, however, he realizes that football isn't any fun alone. Thanks to his mother's good advice, he wins back his friends, and learns the virtue of sharing and the importance of being fair.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fairly Good Catch, Dec 27 2007
By Sonny Saggese "dionbs" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Little T Learns to Share (Hardcover)
I must preface this review by stating that I am a huge Dallas Cowboys Fan. Now with that said when my daughter was giving this book for Christmas it was for a joke. I live in New England Patriot country. I expected the book to.....well stink. I read it to her that next day and I was pleasantly surprised. It's not that bad. The illustrations are very colorful, and the story has a nice message. The only drawback to this book, besides the potential hypocrisy (which I think is disputable considering that the media isn't fair to To) is the language. The book is told in a narrative rhyming sequence which is pretty clunky. It doesn't flow very well. It's choppy. But this book is a success. Maybe anybody can write a children's book, but this one is better then most. After further review the call stands, nice book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not gramatically correct...only for TO fans, Dec 7 2007

I bought this book for my nephew since he's a T.O. fan. When I got it I thought it was cute and had a good lesson in the story. I would say however that it's not the most gramatically correct book so I didn't think that was the best lesson for kids. I wouldn't recommend it for other children unless they're a T.O. fan. If so then it's fine and they'll really like it I'm sure.

2.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book, Nov 30 2006
By S. Glick "glick97" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Little T Learns to Share (Hardcover)
We went to a book siging to get this book. Truthfully, I wasn't sure if the book was going to live up to the hype. T.O. graciously signed books and all proceeds went to charity. I was surprised this book was so well written. My four year old wants me to read it over and over again. He doesn't like for me to read to him but he loves this book! It is the perfect book for children. Its not too short but not too long. I have read this book at least 10 times in the past 3 days. I would recommend this book to anyone with small children. It is great book for little boys because of the football theme. However, the lesson is something everyone can appreciate. Great Book!
