I bought this book for my wife (at the same time as the PSP version of Little Big Planet) and found that this book is so good and also includes the PS3 version which I had already, so imagine my surprise. Thank you.

As a video game completionist, this book was my best friend when running through little big planet. I have played through the main story levels probably 6 times over and i was STILL missing about 30% of all items (stickers, decorations, costumes pieces, materials), so I figured I'd give the guide a try.The guide was filled with easy to understand detailed locations of all items and run throughs on how to Ace every level, and as someone who wants to be able to be uber creative without having my imagination restriced because i dont have the tools I need, this guide gave me everything I wanted and then some. One of my favorite things about the guide was the check list. Every individual level has a list of all the items hidden in the level, so it was extremely easy to find out what I was missing. Another great feature was the wide angle shots given to depict positions of the items, making them easier to find rather then just giving small clipings of the level for specific locations. Only thing that was a little confusing was the locations of the metal gear solid pack item locations. It seemed to be lacking some of the detail, and didn't even have any of the wide angle shots I mentioned earlier. Considering the book is the size of a small phone book and having helped me find all the items, im going to say it was well worth it.

This guide is huge! Weighing in at over 10 pounds and over 500 pages, it features big colorful photos and walkthroughs for every level. It covers everything you need to know about both the PS3 and PSP versions of the game, plus some select downloadable content.The crown jewel of the book is the 80+ pages devoted to the "Create" aspect of LittleBigPlanet. Starting from the basic elements needed to get familiar with creating a level to really getting in depth with the amazing creation tools at your disposal, this guide has you covered. It even gives step by step instructions to build a specific level and challenge level. Very useful for getting a real feel for the level creator. It's laid out nicely for PSP users too. When a specific tool or mechanic is used in the same way for the PSP as PS3, a little PSP icon appears next to that section. If the controls and tools are different, a separate feature is written just for the PSP. Very, very, nice. The book itself is just a treat to flip through. Like I said before, it features big colorful photos and some really nice artwork inside. If you are a LittleBigPlanet fan (safe to assume you wouldn't be reading this if you weren't!) do yourself a favor and get this guide, you won't regret it. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful

I don't have the Game of the Year edition, but this guide covers everything you would need to know in the original game. Full maps of each level, points out where each prize bubble, and a good section on creating. Great price too.

I bought this for my 12 year old son and he has told me that it has helped him a great deal when wanting to get through some parts of the PSP version. He also enjoys all the pictures so he can get ideas for the creating part of the game. We are also getting the Playstation 3 version so it will be of help for that too. Nice book. Delivered very quickly from Amazon.
