5.0 out of 5 stars SO CUTE! Dec 28 2012
By Loretta
Format:Board book|Verified Purchase
My 4 month old grandson loves this book. The puppets catch his attention and he smiles and laughs when I move them while I read, it is a fun way for him to have interaction with the book and a great way for the two of us to play and I hope that by introducing fun books to him now will promote a love of reading :)

3.0 out of 5 stars love the piggys not crazy about the story.. Dec 22 2004
By Lisa - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Misc. Supplies
I was soo excited to get this book for our kids after seeing it on the a.m. news for christmas gift ideas. The idea is wonderful and the book is well made, pigs are too cute, BUT I was disappointed to read the pages to find they changed the story. I know it said in thier own review "a kinder gentler version of the story", but I had no idea what to expect?I do not see the need for this at all. Whats wrong with this little piggy ate roast beef, this little piggy had none? It reads...this little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home, this little piggy ate cookies, this little piggy had fun, this little piggy went wee wee wee all the way home. As cute as that IS, its NOT the story we all grew up with, so thats my only complaint. I wish they had left the story alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars So cute - kids love it Sept. 14 2012

This is such a cute idea - I purchased one for my four month old twins boys, and then another for my friend's one year old little girl as they were visiting recently and she absolutely loved it, laughing and smiling when we would play with it and then she carried it around, wherever she went, for the rest of the evening! Highly recommend...

5.0 out of 5 stars A great little book. Dec 30 2007
By Harlen Pickle - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Board book
This is a great little book to share with an infant. The books are short enough to hold the childs attention while the finger puppets are a great way for the child to associate the characters in the book with something tangible.
5.0 out of 5 stars Was a big hit with my 10-month old grandson July 15 2013

Fit on my hand well. Did not really read the book itself, but just said the nursery story and wiggled each little piggy when his time came! Also got him the Old McDonald Had a Farm Hand-Puppet Board Book, and that was an even bigger hit, causing my grandson to say his first real word back to us: "Dog!"
4.0 out of 5 stars Great concept June 2 2013

Bought this for our daughter for her first flight. She was more entertained in the pigges than the book itself.
