Le meilleur spectacle des Corrs!,

Bien que j'aime tous les spectacles des Corrs. Celui-ci demeure pour moi le plus enlevant. Essayez ne pas taper du pied une seule fois! C'est vraiment très difficile!Longue vie au Corrs! J'espère ardemment qu'ils reviendront un jour!

Great performance marred by the camera direction,

Like the title says a really wonderful performance by the Corrs but the camera people.... I don't know if others noticed but I personally thought the camera direction wasn't particularly good. There were too many really close ups of the Corrs where you would only see half of their faces because the camera was too close. This was especially true of the shots of Sharon playing the violin. You couldn't really see Andrea dancing and jumping or her arm movements because the camera was plastered on her. If the camera people just zoomed out a little bit everything would be fine. The concert at the Royal Albert Hall had both really close ups and far enough shots where you could see the Andrea moving around the stage. Why couldn't the camera do the same thing here? A lot of the camera shots were side views of the Corrs I would prefer more frontal views. Is there not enough room for the cameras at this venue? After awhile I became annoyed with all the panning shots of the fans. It was distracting as I wanted to see more of the Corrs doing their thing and of Andrea moving around the stage. I didn't pay to see the fans I paid to see the Corrs. Less shots of the fans during the songs and more of the Corrs please Mr. Editor and camera persons. The extras are interesting and worth watching. We get to see them talking about their "In Blue" album and of some of their other concert footage. Which by the way, the camera was set just nicely in those. I could see what was happening on stage and the close up views of the Corrs. Also included with the "In blue" interview is the plugged version of 'Radio'. The sound and video(?) is different from that of the unplugged version. Really nice to hear and watch. So now it boils down to is the DVD worth buying? Yes the Corrs never disappoint in their performance but be aware that the camera angles plus the numerous shots of the fans when you prefer to see the Corrs might annoy a little. The extras included also make this a worthwhile purchase.

Agree with everything Toronto said and more. My eyes got a little damp as well, watching Andrea's reaction to the audience singing on Runaway. For Andrea, that has to be the memory of a lifetime. What an affirmation of your talents. The duet with Sharon and Caroline was very special. Had not heard either of their voices in solo before. Sharon bowled me over. This talents of this group runneth over with each of them possessing so many that it boggles the mind. I've been hungering for this and the Unplugged DVD for so long that I almost couldn't believe it when I read that they would finally be available with region one encoding. Wonder how much was lost in sales and publicity over the years because these two DVD's weren't availble for the North American market. The Unplugged DVD is enroute and I can hardly wait to watch Andrea sing Little Wing and Everybody Hurts.
