what songs are on this album, are indeed good vintage Tom...in fact he's probably at his best in this album. Indeed though normaly I don't like live albums, Stompin Tom live albums are a real treat. So I can't fault the quality of the album based on the performance, so why the four stars? ...because all the contents are not here!
I have seen the video of this horseshoe tavern concert and probably half the concert is missing from this album! for example the man on the moon is a newfie, the hockey song and others were played at this concert and they are not on this album. These and other songs in this live concert are part of the reason you get live albums! why are they missing? indeed only what...12? songs are on this album, yet this concert near as I can figure it was over an hour long, (not counting the breaks)long enough to do twice the songs. Don't tell me you can't put too many songs on an album, I have another stompin' Tom album that has 24 songs and is one hour and 6 minutes long! so where's the rest of this album?!
Can ANYBODY tell me how I can get the entire horsehoe Tavern album, especialy say in video form? I've looked and looked and can't find it. I only know it does exist, by coming home one day and turning on the Tv and it there it was. In fact it was this concert that consolidated me being an endless fan of the stompin' one.
