Product Description

"If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it."
-William Arthur Ward

How many of us live our lives according to others expectations? How many of us have put our lives on hold to accommodate a spouse (current or past), our parents, our children, someone who is needier than us, for our job... How many of us wander through life, with one day the same as the next with little passion for living or purpose in life? How many of us know we could do better, if only we knew how to communicate – with ourselves and with others? Live Your Dreams... Let Reality Catch Up helps you discover who you are, what really motivates you and provides you with the knowledge and tools for you to choose what you want in life.

It all begins with communication – the conversation you have with yourself and then the conversation you have with someone else. Do you tell yourself how wonderful you are or do you focus on how things can go wrong, that you do not deserve to succeed? After you have had this conversation with yourself, how does this affect the conversation you have with someone else? And once more do you prove yourself right? And settle for less than you deserve?

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), the subject of this book, has helped thousands to discover their own potential, is it your turn? Are you ready?

This book does not pretend to know what is best for you, nor will it tell you how you should live your life. It provides a Toolkit for Transformation and is the Life Manual you didn’t get when you were born! It’s all about recognizing you have choice, you are always choosing. You have the choice of ‘continuing to do what you have always done and get the same results, or you can choose to do something different.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great resource for individuals and trainers, Jul 13 2006
By Julie Fillion - See all my reviews

I highly recommend this book: the NLP exercises are laid out in a step by step format, making it a useful reference for NLP practicioners. "Live your Dreams" also provides an excellent overview of NLP for people who are not familiar with it. Throughout the book, questions are asked to stimulate the reader's reflection; this makes the book especially valuable for both individuals and trainers. In fact, I used it as a reference in a recent training I gave to coaches and I certainly plan to use it again!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a "must buy", Jun 23 2008
By Amanda J. Carey "Serene Scholastica" (Hamilton, Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book is an excellent source on neuro-linguistic programming, both as a first book and for those with knowledge in the field. This book provides a solid grounding and a great reference book that you will return to again and again. The concepts are clearly laid out in easy to understand language, with step by step instructions for the techniques.

This is a must have for coaches and counsellors, teachers, managers and business-people, anyone who interacts with other people...and mostly EVERYONE who wants to find the *best person you can be*.

If you ever get to study with Roger in person I highly recommend this as well. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and understanding...(and a lot of fun!)

5.0 out of 5 stars The Ideal Resource for Understanding NLP, Aug 27 2006
In his book Live Your Dreams and Let Reality Catch Up, Roger Ellerton has managed to assemble a tool kit of NLP resources for anyone to adapt into their everyday life. He's easy to understand style of writing not too technical and is easy to understand.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a good, clear understanding of the practice of NLP. As a growth strategist for independent professionals and internationally expanding companies, Live Your Dreams and Let Reality Catch Up is used as one of the essential reading books for the business growth coaching program our comany offers.
