HASH(0xa0dfed74) out of 5 stars Another GREAT help in seeing the MIP (motive, intent and purpose) of The Course. Sept. 14 2011
By Rev. Mary Beth Olson - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is just another of Miller's genius books! He has always had the ability to make something that has appeared to be highly intellectual into a presentation that is extremely helpful for a new OR present student of the Course. This book is no exception. Having been a teacher/student/facilitator of the Course for many, many years (early 80's), and have used many of Patrick's books in my classrooms, I can assure you that this latest one is a miracle in itself. I think you will be as astounded as I and my students were (and are) in applying his insights into our present Course study, which is our 7th time through! I have also taken notice that Patrick Miller DOES understand and believe that because there is only ONE mind, therefore really no original idea, that this is why this book resonates so quickly and deeply for each of us. He is merely explaining for all of us, in detail, the commonality of the experiences we all experience as we continue studying the Course.

HASH(0xa0dfefc0) out of 5 stars A Vanguard Book Aug. 3 2011
By John F. - Published on
Format: Paperback
I believe this work will, if not soon, one day be in the vanguard of books on the Course.

If Disappearance works so well as a primer before one reads the Course, I believe this work will
similarly help thousands who have read the Course, and have so many question marks swirling in the air
about what the heck they just read

D. Patrick has this incredible ability to state in a simple yet elegant way, some of the most profound
areas of the Course intersecting with our day to day life. I found myself with so many aha moments, as
if to say to myself Ahhaa ~ that makes sense now to me!

HASH(0xa0e0021c) out of 5 stars One of the Best! Nov. 28 2011

D. Patrick Miller's, "Living With Miracles" is One of the best ACIM related books out there. Mr. Miller has a way of picking out the most instructive stories re people attempting to live a "Course in Miracles lifestyle".
And every ACIM lifestyle is naturally individualized, and it almost always seems like a long road Home. But in the end, it will probably seem like a mere Instant.
"All's Well That Ends Well", and Patrick will help anyone understand some of the self-imposed hurdles we all encounter. Patrick is easy to read, and readily acknowledges the many ways each of us travel toward Oneness.
Like Patrick, I too am amused at all the cul-de-sacs, loop-da-loops, and migratory explorations each of us navigates to complete this Earthly cycle.
If you think you are alone in your 'problems', Patrick will let you know you are part of a large group of Time Hikers, and there is a Guide, and this Guide knows you well, and what will work with you. Although getting in-touch with this Guide and then understanding the most appropriate path for you is not without it's continuing self-revelatory surprises.
Time & Space looked like fun escape at first, seemed like a good idea, but it turns out otherwise. Patrick will help you find your way back.

HASH(0xa0e003c0) out of 5 stars A Miracle of a Book Aug. 15 2011
By Karen Cawrse - Published on
Format: Paperback
This is the first but won't be the last book I will read by this author. It addresses many of the questions and concerns I have had personally when working with and trying to make sense of ACIM, and reading it has inspired me to return to my studies. This is a marvelous book and I couldn't put it down! My copy is from the library but I will be buying it and adding it to my personal library soon to re-read, highlight and treasure. Thank you D. Patrick Miller for this truly inspiring and clearly presented work!

HASH(0xa0e00798) out of 5 stars clearly describes the Course Oct. 7 2011
By N. Hamlin - Published on
Format: Paperback
Many students of "A Course in Miracles" report confusion about various passages in the Course. I think Miller (a long-term student)does a great job of presenting the advantages of studying the Course. I hope his book prompts others to begin their own study, or at least, expand the helpful notions the Course is trying to teach us.
