Kim Thomas has a gift of taking the everyday activities of life and noticing things about them that escape the observations of most of the rest of us. Then she weaves her 'noticings' into meaningful and revealing stories which help our self-awareness. She has an almost poetic style while highlighting the blessings and frustrations of living in between various life situations. Kim invites us to remember the depth of meaning hidden within the times when we just want to move ahead to the next signpost of life. Her humor, candor and keen awareness of things and people around her make this book a refreshing perspective on the everyday, everyman experiences we have.
