HASH(0x9b1a5414) out of 5 stars Great book Jan. 24 2007
By LaDyBug - Published on
Format: Paperback
I read both the original (Swedish) and English translations. The book is compelling and thought provoking. At the same time the English translation manages to be a light and easy read. All will enjoy this book, from the sci-fi reader to the existentialist to the causal "I just read the latest New York Times best seller" reader. There is something here for everyone.

HASH(0x9b1a5744) out of 5 stars An extended short story, but well worth reading Nov. 8 1999
By A Customer - Published on
Format: Paperback
A unique novel (as far as I know), concerning the "life" of Epsilon, a brain saved from a dead person sustained in an experimental tank - all written in the first "person".
It goes on bit, but if you like books which make you a bit uneasy and make you think, read this one.

HASH(0x9c6e815c) out of 5 stars One of the very best books ever written Aug. 17 2013
By Christopher Harris - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Seriously. This is an extremely interesting, funny, visionary book, written by one of Sweden's very best authors, who is also a medical doctor by training.
