5.0 out of 5 stars moon planting Oct. 5 2011
By R. Lou - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I plant by the moon cycles and have for the last 5 or 6 years. a friend recommended this book because he uses it for the same reason. I do use it for other things than planting but it's excellent for gardeners!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great resource. Nov. 25 2011
By A. Davis - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I have used this book for years. Keeps getting better year after year. When you find something that works why should you fix it. I won't by another kind for this information, for this is the best.
5.0 out of 5 stars Llewelyn's Almanac Feb. 3 2014
By Andy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I use this almanac for gardening, and also as a (non obliging) guide for planning and doing certain activities on certain days. Some people might be skeptical, but nobody can deny that the moon has a lot of influence on our planet (a daily example: The tides) and also on other things in nature.
A technical hint: get this book in paperback format - the tables can be difficult to read on the Kindle (especially the "basic" model) and precisely the tables contain the most important information you want to get.
4.0 out of 5 stars I don't recommend this for the kindle Nov. 12 2013
By H. Hochhalter - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Don't get me wrong, I love my kindle, but some publications are difficult to navigate in e-format and this is one of them. It is very time consuming to get to different areas of the book (even with bookmarking), and the tables don't line up on the page correctly. And if you are trying to reference and coordinate void-of-course tables with the calendar, you cant flip back and forth effectively. Stick to the paper version if you want to get anything of of these types of books.
