I have been buying these books for years and they are consistently great. I love starting my day with a cup of tea and my Almanac and Date Book. The illustrations are lovely and the little tips and stories sprinkled through the book(s) are interesting and inspirational.

I am a practicing Wiccan. I buy this book for myself and one for my daughter (also Wiccan) every year. I can't do without it anymore. There is a great deal of information in the front of the book and again at the back. There are recipes, writings about different Sabbats, and general information available throughout the book. And you can keep track of your own life at the same time.

A must have for every Wiccan/Pagan! The day book lists all the moon phases, Sabbats, and important events in the Wiccan/Pagan calendar. A great companion to the Witches' Calendar and small enough that you can carry it around in your bag.

I've read through the datebook and enjoyed the articles however I mistakenly purchased 2012 instead of 2013. So the book is valuable in terms of the information inside but not as a datebook for me.

Couldn't live without!! Sept. 2 2011

I love this datebook. I have used the Llewellyn witches datebook for about 6 years. It has very practical and useful information. I am not Wiccan --so I like that the information is very general and Pagan oriented rather than full of Wiccan info. (not knocking the wiccans, it just doesn't pertain to me)
I have given this as a gift to many many friends-Pagen and non.

Great Gift Sept. 6 2011
By C. Moyer - Published on Amazon.com

I got this as a gift for my Mom, along with the 2012 Llewellyn's calendar, and she loved them both. This datebook had a lot of interesting information in it for the individual days, as well as a wealth of information otherwise. Definitely worth the money.

A useful tool for a dynamic practice of Witchcraft Dec 9 2011
By Anja Rebekka Schultze - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Calendar
Witches Datebook 2012 is an useful little book, it have a day planner for all the days of 2012, including information on astrological influences and days important notes for a Pagan on every day. There are notes about the Sabbats, and small spells and magickal recipes all over the book. You will also find calendars in here and at the back of the book there are a ton of astrological information and a place for notes.

This day planner would be great to note days you want to do rituals as well ad invaluable in finding the right day for a planned rite. In addition this book will work well as your regular day planner with allot of space each day to note appointments and others things you must remember.

Witches Datebook 2012 also have some articles, not unlike some of Llewellyn's other so called almanacs which is more like magazines just filled with articles, the meat of this book is the day planner and then the articles is a bonus, this also means that unlike the other books this one is not that useful other years than 2012, you might still want to pick it up for the articles if you find it for a bargain, but other than that this book is the most useful the year it was intended. I will list the articles in this book here:

*How to use Llewellyn's Witches Datebook--Pretty self explanatory, I did not know a day planner needed a manual.
*Dark of the Moon--A good article on how to celebrate the black moon, I liked this article allot.
*The Mystic Tray--Another good article about using the Ouija board in a Pagan setting.
*Timecraft: Temporal Spellwork--this is an article about using magic to alter time, quite interesting.
*Candle Magic--A basic candle magic intro.
*Scrapbooking your BOS--this is a interesting article about how to get crafty when creating your Book of Shadows.

All the articles are written by famous occult authors and are generally quite good. There are also a scattering of spells and tidbits of useful information strewn all about this book. Llewellyn Witches Datebook 2012 have allot of original art which makes the book quite pretty to look at. I recommend this book to everyone who practice Witchcraft, I think this book can help with the day to day organizing of one's Spiritual life and also help bring magick into one's everyday life and as such this book is a quite useful tool.

Beautiful artwork and interesting tidbits of information, useful appendix Nov. 6 2011
By mewhojen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Calendar
The Witches' Datebook is always a pleasure to have and use. The scratch-board style illustrations are well done and correspond with the large wall calendar by the same publisher. The articles for this year's edition feature the themes of the Dark of the Moon, The Mystic Tray, which apparently is a talking board for the spirit world, Time and magic, making a scrap-booking Book of Shadows, and the ever-popular candle magic.

There are the Sabbat and Esbat rituals and information, a sprinkling of spells and recipes along with the usual almanac features for plant and harvest, as well as moon phases and planetary/color correspondences. The Appendix with Eclipse, Moon, Planetary Retrogrades and Moon Void-of-course data is always a good at-a-glance reference.

This size is nice for the content, although a bit big to tote around unless you sport a largish handbag or backpack. The only thing I wish it had was a view of each month other than the checkbook registry sized one opposite the table of contents. That being said, since I got my first copy of this datebook, I've been buying them annually ever since.
