The Logitech G35 is probably one of the smartest things I have ever purchased. When you first listen to anything using these headphones, you'll catch yourself checking to make sure your external speakers aren't on. I also own Logitech's Z5500 surround speakers, and I must say at times I find it's a hard decision as to which I would prefer to listen to music with. The surround feature makes music sound fantastic, works great on Blu-Ray movies and any movie files with a high bitrate surround source. In stereo, the sound quality matches any $300+ valued headset on the market.

The only down side to this headset so far has been microphone positioning. I find with the boom fully lowered (at mouth level), the sound pickup functions rather poorly. The pickup seems to be angled-down slightly, so ideal mic placement is slightly above the mouth.

I purchased this headset after Christmas and received it within a week or so. This headset does not run off your built-in cards in your computer and you have to install some software that installs the drivers. This is a painless process and is easy to perform. The headset is very comfortable to wear for hours on end and the mic conveniently folds up out of the way and is automatically muted in this position. I highly recommend this product as it is hard to find a good gaming headset for under $100 and this performs beautifully.

Sound Quality is Excellent works great for games and movies.

They do work on mac but none of the features will work like bindable buttons all it would do on mac is launch itunes and change songs. I'm also unaware of any drivers for mac.

Let me just say that this was a bit of an impulse purchase from Logitech, but I think it was worth it.

They're very comfy, though this is very subjective about anything really. They do have a "I swear bro, I'll snap in a second" feel to them, but they seem to be very durable and rigid. The plastic on the head rest is a little weird and the padding is a bit fussy, but otherwise is very good in a functional way. Maybe I just messed it up... too lazy to check. It works well for me.

Sound quality is good. I'd say better than my astros with deeper bass and high treble. Definitely an entry level 7.1 surround sound headset, but it feels more like a $200 pair than anything cheaper. Some people don't like the buttons on the side, but I've been using a Das Keyboard which has none of those "convenient" buttons you always hit when you don't want to, but I've personally found the buttons to my liking and are somewhat convenient. Only problem is I usually stream music, so the only useful things most of the time are the mute button and the volume knob.

The one thing I do like about the boom on the mic is that it feels rigid and it doesn't feel like it's going to go loose on me and always flop around on me like THOSE ASTROS I SPENT $350 ON. The mic is obviously not a top end mic or anything (which I will admit the Astros beat it on, it sounds like a studio mic almost), but it does it's job well with no static.

The drivers are a pain in the ass though. Holy crap. Save yourself some trouble; don't update to the newest ones, or if you already have and you have issues, downgrade them. Google G35 driver issue crackling. It's not a problem with the headset, it's a problem with USB3.0 and the driver update they did. Powerful graphics cards sometimes interfere for some stupid reason.

Anyway, it's a good headset. If you wanna spend around this price, and you think they look cool, and you aren't a picky butthurt dweller, buy 'em.

The sound quality in the headphones are great! They're not super amazing or anything but for the price they're good! The surround sound may not be "true surround sound" but it works. The Quality of the headset is great, the cable is very long and is protected by a fabric shell (don't really know the technical term of it but it makes the cord look like a rope, and will prevent squishing or wearing down to it) Doing the jiggle test everything seems to be very well put together. The headset comes with 3 different head pads for the best fit, and the mic is both retractable and flexible with good sound quality. On the ear pieces there is a volume wheel where you can control your computers volume in game ( I find this very useful because for me some games do not allow you to change volume very easily. There is a mute button, and the mic also mutes when you retract the mic. There are also 3 buttons that you can set to an application like itunes, one could change the song or pause the song and play it. Logitech also places a disk with the headset that installs drivers and a software you can use to change treble, bass and mic volumes. There are also voice filters that can change your voice to sound like monsters like androids or trolls.
I would give the headset a 5/5 because you get quite a lot for only $100, but there are better mics out there, but for a larger price. These are good enough for me. I recommend!

This thing is great. The sound quality is a noticeable improvement. Actually, one of the first things I did was test it with some youtube videos.

The microphone has pretty good noise cancellation. Very little background fuzz (9/10 imo). The microphone turns off when swiveled up, and the arm is flexible.

It remains comfortable after long sessions. I haven't used the alternate pads for the headband, but its nice that you can customize for comfort.

The buttons on the left side are very convenient for changing song tracks without switching applications. I do accidentally push them often, but thats usually just funny especially with the voice altering keys. The volume wheel is also excellent.

I haven't figured out how to record audio from my computer AND the headset for video recordings, but its possible that theres an easy fix for that.

My ONLY COMPLAINT is the cord. it tangles up a lot. The problem was worse when I first got it, but its not as bad now. In another couple months it might not be a problem at all.
