Despite what the previous reviewer said, there is no issue with regards to Linux drivers, just plug it in and it works. It will automatically show up as Logitech USB Headset. Even the volume control (which is a USB HID control that actually adjusts the computer volume, not just a variable resistor) woks flawlessly just by plugging it in.

In this case setup was much easier in Linux than in Windows.

This is the lowest-cost USB headset that I know works with Windows XP/7, OSX, and Ubuntu without any issues or driver complications. Comfortable too.

Working well for work conferencing purposes for the last 18 months. I like that the ear pads are leather covered on the front and sturdy fabric on the back, not simple foam (which shreds pretty quickly in my experience). I've travelled with mine and it's stood up to that. Controls are easy to use. No drivers required on Windows 7 64bit.

Would happily get another if I had to, but I don't see this one breaking soon.

plug and play replacement for earlier model i used with dragon naturally speaking. seems to work well without any obvious "re-learning" on the part of the software. ear cups smaller than previous model and only cover half the ear but havent decided whether that is a problem. Previous model broke when i tugged on usb plug sideways, seems to be a perennial issue with usb headphones

Works fine on Windows 7 Home 64-bit. My old Logitech headset was a different model but similar style, and worked great for about a year before the mic failed. This H390 replacement does not advertise support for Windows 7 but seems to work fine on my laptop. Drivers installed automatically and all is well.

Headset is used mainly for VOIP calls and quality seems fine. $40 price is justified.

I use this headset for Skype to keep my hands free and it is a very good overall unit. I can hear the other person clearly and they all say I come through very clear as well....what more can you ask? Go ahead and buy one...you'll love it

This is a replacement of the exact same headset I purchased 5 years ago. I love the headset. It has lasted so long and still works but it was time to get a new one. Because I have been happy with it for over 5 years it made sense to just order the same one again.

Purchased these headphones for business videoconferencing and have been pleased with the results. Windows 7 finds and installs whatever drivers are necessary. Audio quality is good. The only complaint I have is that they are a bit heavy and the full ear covers make them a little warm after an hour of so. But nothing too terrible. I also have a Logitech behind the ear USB headset that gets quite uncomfortable after thirty minutes or so by pinching my ears. This over the head unit is much more comfortable.
