A great product,

I can't undestand why this product hasn't achieved more success. I simply love it.Connects wirelessly to my network, allowing me to play any mp3 on my computer or NAS device. But the best part is the ability to play any internet radio station in the world - I love it. Great sound to boot. (Have't tried the apps, such as last.fm, pandora or the likes) Update: Still love it and re: comment above, I totally agree it is expensive, that's why I purchased it in the US :-). As for loosing signal, it has happened a few times, but for me it was because I was fiddling with the settings too much. Now I've understood what my stable setup is, and it doesn't lose connection anymore. Instructions could be much more exhaustive, that's true.

I am also a classical music listener, but just retired this lemon in favor of my Sirius-XM radio. The Squeezebox has little bass and sounds tinny; hence the incredible variety of stations sound dead on arrival. Setting stations on the Squeezebox is a complicated nightmare, and with a service interruption you have to start from scratch. XM has only 2 classical stations, but the sound on my XM radio (in the Delphi Boombox) is very good, with decent bass.

I can understand very well why the Logitech Squeexebox Boom All-in-One does not sell well...First, it is very expensive; in Canada almost twice the cost of buying one in the US. Still, my husband bought me one for Christmas, because I like to listen to classical music which is not available where we live. We have a less than ideal internet service which tends to be intermittent. When the Squeezebox cannot find the server, it loses its memory and has to be set up from scratch. It is simply not worth the effort. Do not buy this radio. MH
