5.0 out of 5 stars This will be a classic, Mar 5 2011

This is an absolutely brilliant CD, for everyone who loves great tunes and proper music.

Stand-out tracks for me include Get in Line, Heavenly and the title track. But there is not a bad song on there.

He gets better with every album and if you like this, you'll want to buy all his other ones too.

His songs are full gorgeous melodies that really stick in your head. The words are great too.

Ron's songs always make life feel better!

5.0 out of 5 stars Long Wait, Great Bloomer, Mar 15 2011
This review is from: Long Player Late Bloomer (Audio CD)
The long wait for this album has been well rewarded (first heard some of the songs Nov. '09 in concert). After a few plays it feels like an old friend on a new venture. The invitation song to "Get in Line" is one of the smartest lyrics I've heard in some time, and I love the "larger" sound of Bob Rock's production. Ron's gift for brilliant melody is well known; the lyrics here are fresh and always interesting. Late bloomers are always more engaging!
