It is not fair to say that this book rivals Lord of the rings, simply because it is much much better. It is a story that takes place after the last ice age (ten thousand years ago) in the land of the Abenaki people. The sequel to Dawn Land and prequel to The Waters Between. This might be the best fiction trilogy ever. It is packed with spiritual messages, adventure, romance, monsters, and much more. I highly reccomend this novel, you will not regret it at any point.
