Review

"I believe that the Adler treatment of IPC is one of the best in the field… It presents this material in a clear and relevant fashion for students. It covers topics of significant importance for the personal and relational growth of students. It is easy to teach from. The ancillary materials are excellent and further the instruction quality of the text…This is one of the most teacher and student friendly books in the field. Excellent visuals in the chapters and excellent applications and exercises."

"I think this text has class. Our students think it has real value, so much so, that they keep it. With this text we change lives, empower people and teach skills and concepts for a communication rich life."

"I thought the (Communication Scenarios) were interesting and insightful. I also think that my students would enjoy the scenarios. Because we live in such a media generated society, I have found that my students truly enjoy watching concepts rather then being lectured on a concept." --This text refers to an alternate Hardcover edition.

2.0 out of 5 stars no deal Aug 20 2011
Format:Hardcover
i have nothing bad to say about the seller or the product, however, the lowest price for the a used copy of this textbook is six dollars more than i can get it for in my college bookstore. then add shipping on top of that. the cost of a used book should be below the cost of a new one in the store. i understand that it is a hard cover book, but broke college students like lighter books. Blessings.
