no deal,
This review is from: Looking Out, Looking In (Hardcover)
i have nothing bad to say about the seller or the product, however, the lowest price for the a used copy of this textbook is six dollars more than i can get it for in my college bookstore. then add shipping on top of that. the cost of a used book should be below the cost of a new one in the store. i understand that it is a hard cover book, but broke college students like lighter books. Blessings.

WARNING: Kindle Edition Missing Significant Parts of Book Due to "Copyright Restrictions",
By Adam Lintz - Published on Amazon.com
I got this book for a course I am taking. Unfortunately, there are several excepts and related material that are omitted from the Kindle edition due to "Copyright Restrictions". The book itself is quite good, but if you end up being quizzed on or otherwise need these sections, you may be caught with your proverbial pants down. I wonder how long before publishers realize that these hassles are often the reason why people don't trust purchasing digital material. Amazon should NOT sell this as the "Kindle Edition" of the printed book without at least clearly advertising that the book is missing material. 12 of 13 people found the following review helpful:

Best Textbook I've Ever Used,
By K. Lam - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Looking Out, Looking In (with CD-ROM and InfoTrac) (Hardcover)
As a college student, I'm used to dry, terse textbooks that I fall asleep over, but Looking Out, Looking In is different. The art, poetry, illustrative stories, even the cartoons are beautiful and entertaining. The content is well organized, enjoyable reading and the extra exercises are so much fun that I've done them when they weren't assigned (well, I'm also a bit of a nerd, but that's beside the point). If you're a communications or psychology prof browsing for a new curriculum, do your students a huge favor: use this book!

A manual for all,
By Giovanni Diamante "translator/interpreter" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Looking Out, Looking In (with CD-ROM and InfoTrac) (Hardcover)
I will suggest this manual to every couple, especially the newly wed, even before suggesting any "how to ..my babie". I wish I had this book 40 years ago, most of my troubles would have never come. Many manuals out there, such "How to satisfy your woman/man" and such are just the mechanics of human relation, this is its soul.
Matter of fact I will bring a copy to Italy next May to two newly wed couples. Giovanni Diamante |
