Beautifully created and photographed, this primer teaches the basics of pasta. With easy to use recipes, simple techniques, the outcome is always tasty. Lorenza's recipe on basic pasta could use a little more description but overall it is a solid book.

Not your classic cookbook; dedicated to pasta, this teaches you about the culture around pasta and all its uses. The instructions on how to make pasta should be more detailed. But everything I have cooked from here has been well received.

I purchased this book once before a long time ago, and then lost it. I made the Fettuccine alle Carote e Scampi, and for a person that does not cook, it was one of the most delishous meals that I have ever had. A high quality dish, it made me feel as though I was a chef. (Actually, maybe there IS hope for me,yet!) I can't wait to try the other recipes.The book is soft covered. I originally had the hard cover book, but no matter, the same recipes are there so I am excited to have it. |
