Too many mistakes,

I borrowed this book from the library and decided to try a few of the projects. I started with the bath cloth but I found that the way it turned out was not nice enough to account for the difficulty of the pattern. I moved on to the Flirty Scarf and just as I was starting, I realized that the pattern didn't make sense. I went to the publisher's site only to see a ton of corrections. It was a bit disheartening to see so many problems with the patterns.I wasn't a huge fan of the book set up. The pictures are all at the beginning and they have the pattern page listed and the pattern title above the photo. I prefer having the pattern and photo right beside each other. That being said, the photographs are lovely and I think they show the projects off well. The bulk of the book is knitting with a few crochet pieces. Overall, this is an ok book but I would recommend anyone looking to do the projects to check the publisher's website first. It will save you a lot of trouble.

Disappointed,

I have purchased the other one Skein wonder books and have loved them! They are fabulous for ideas and quick knit gifts! This book however, I find a little disappointing. I ordered it online sight unseen. Looking through the book 3 or 4 times and seeing very few patterns that have jumped off the pages at me! Where as the rest of the series I have many tagged(sticky note markers) pages.
