5.0 out of 5 stars WHY??? Jun 4 2005
By William Joseph Duffin - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
WHY DO OASIS ALWAYS LEAVE THEIR BEST SONGS AS B-SIDES???? THAT MAKES ME SO MAD!! The b-sides on this single are as good or even better than anything on the album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great song but haven't I heard this same bashing before! May 28 2005
By Kenneth E. James - Published on Amazon.com

The more I listen to this song the more I like it. The b-sides are excellent and remind me of Oasis 1994. I don't understand why people want to constantly bash Oasis for ripping off riffs from other bands. Led Zeppelin, arguably the greatest rock band of all time, constantly ripped off riffs from Robert Johnson, example "Whole Lotta Love." This practice has been going on for the last forty years. The bottom line is that this is a good song.

4.0 out of 5 stars "...the world around us makes me feel so small" April 11 2006
By S. Sarhan - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Lyla is the first single released from Oasis's 2005 album Don't Believe The Truth.

The song went straight in at Number 1 on UK's singles chart, while in the US, it only entered Billboard's Modern Rock tracks at number 19.

Upon listening to it for the first time, I disliked it. But after repeated listening, it grows on you like fungus until you find yourself stomping your feet, shaking your head, and imitating Liam's singing style as you sing along to every one of Noel's lyrics.

Lyla is one of the catchiest songs Oasis have ever recorded, and one of their definite classics.
