Great essays on an important Canadian philosopher.,

This review is from: Lyric Ecology: Essays in Honour of Jan Zwicky (Hardcover)
This book may be worth it just for the reprint of the conversation between Zwicky and Tim Lilburn, titled "Contemplation and Resistance", which is otherwise hard to find. I especially appreciated Dennis Lee's essay, however, concerning the substance and potential of Zwicky's stylistic innovation for philosophical writing, as well as Carolyn Richardson's essay on the problem with analytic theories of metaphor, which is short and right on target. Overall an interesting, thought-provoking volume on a philosopher who has yet to be fully and widely appreciated.
