"A fabulous book: well written, well paced, fun, and informative. I also love the sense of humor. It's very good at disarming the fear. And it's gorgeous. I'll be recommending this book highly."
--Tom Igoe, author of Physical Computing and Making Things Talk

Best introduction to electronics ever written!,

This review is from: MAKE: Electronics: Learning Through Discovery (Paperback)
After reading this book, I finally understand how a transistor works in a cicuit! This book is a great mix of the practical with the theoretical. I took one electronics class in college and didn't learn half as much as I did reading this book. A tour-de-force! I hope he writes a sequel.

This book is great both as a starting point or a refresher to electronics. I'm going to order the parts bundles from the Maker Shed so I can do all of the experiments. I really like the hands-on approach of doing the experiment and then talking about what is happening. Very easy to follow.

Nice little book to start electronic,
This review is from: MAKE: Electronics: Learning Through Discovery (Paperback)
I always searched a book to start softly in electronic and this one is the best I have read so far. I have try many book but all of them start very slowly than goes too far fast. This one is easy to understand and does not require to have done too much pre-lecture. Activities are simple and theories are just enough to understand.I recommend this book over any other books to start electronic.
