MEANING OF MDNA:
When discussing the album on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Madonna explained that the album's title is a triple entendre, representing both her name and "Madonna DNA." She also implied that it's also a reference to the drug MDMA, or ecstasy, which provides "euphoric feelings of love." It was rightly condemned by Lucy Dawe, a spokesperson for the anti-drugs campaign group Cannabis Skunk Sense. She told The Sun newspaper that Madonna's choice of album title was "an ill advised decision." For me, I almost confused myself with my credit card MBNA...
MDNA finds Madonna once again in charge and apparently motivated, cowriting and coproducing every track -- and this time, the co-credits aren't just cosmetic. It's her best album since "Ray of Light" in 1998, an album that balanced introspection and pop dazzle in collaboration with U.K. electronic artist William Orbit.
This set has 12 songs! The song "Give me All Your Luvin'" debut at the Super Bowl half time show. It peaked at Number 10 on Billboard Hot 100, becoming Madonna's 38th top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100, extending her record as the artist with most top-ten singles in the chart history. But, Madonna's legend on Billboard's Dance/Club Play Songs chart grows this week, as "Give Me All Your Luvin'," featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., rises 2-1 to become her 41st leader on the list.Read more ›
I will admit that the first time I listened to this album I did not like it.
However, by the third time I listened to it - I was hooked.
There are some amazing songs on here. However, the content of the songs are not like a virgin.
Now I love driving down the highway with this album playing. Yes there are a few tracks I skip over. Over all, I listen to 80% of this album. It has been a long time since I could say I listened to 80% of an album.

Just wish all the tracks were on one CD..its a pain flip flopping back in forth while driving on the highway. :)Published on Sept. 15 2013 by Jay
I was so excited to purchase this CD but was quickly diappointed beyond song #1. I think Madonna's time may have come to an end. I would not purchase any future CD's of hers.Published on April 30 2012 by Tasi
Expectations were high for MDNA, Madonna's first studio album in four years, and after several spins, this uneven and derivative record has left me a little disappointed. Read morePublished on March 27 2012 by KaseyG
