The cable was twisted in the retractor when received. It took a few minutes to untangle it. The retractor spring seems strong enough to to it's job.
The retractor saves the ugly sight of having cables strewn out from your computer.
Plugged it in and it works great.
Shipping was a little slow, but acceptable.
All in all a good product at a good price.

I read the reviews and thought this charger would be a good deal. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The charger shorted my Zune, and it has not run well since. I ended up having to reset the Zune after it shorted, which Ive had to do several times since then. It keeps freezing, and now it has problems charging. The price is cheap, so maybe I should have known better. Dont get this charger just for the price!!

If your zune is always dying after long use on the go, you will need to carry the usb cable with you. I always did but I hated carrying it because it would get tangle with other things in my pocket. Now I don't go anywhere without these. As soon as I got them I feel in love!!! I love how easy this device extends. And for the price to, there's nothing to lose other than time.
I own a 30 GB zune for more than a year.
I wish I would a bought these LONG TIME AGO! This is the only negative about this.
PS. When you get this, make sure to hold the both connection (hold one connector to pc with one hand and hold the connector that connects on the zune with the other hand, then pull)
