Contacted Amazon.ca seller (the Wireless USA) for advice on how to install and use as there were no instructions on how to install and use. Despite packaging that states dongle is compatible with Windows98,98se,Me,2000,XP,Vista,Windows7... the seller replied the dongle is not compatible with Windows 7... would I like to return for a refund.

Unfortunately, it is not worthwhile paying mailing cost to return to Illinois from Vancouver for a $5.97 refund (purchased two dongles).

My Windows 7 PC was able to find the dongle and then discover the Sony Ericsson MW600 Headset that was purchased with the dongles. But Windows says there is no driver available for the dongle, therefore I am unable to use the headset. When I try to install driver from mini CD included in package, the installation fails due to an Error 183 message.

Does anyone know how to make dongle and headset work with Windows 7?

Tried it, cuz come on its cheap. Doesn't work as advertised, no drivers on it, and I couldn't find any on multiple occasions, on different pc's. Falls apart easily, nice that there's two. Would try again, out of desperation IF I was convinced I could get me to work

Bought the two BT dongle package from seller Eshopic. To my amazement the manufacturer of this product IVT wants $25.00 a piece for their software for these dongles to work with Windows 7 with my Dell BT travel mouse.

Nowhere in the description does it mention that you would need to pay an additional 2 x $25 = $50 for this product to work as described. This is pure theft!!

Buyer beware!!

The 2 X MINI USB BLUETOOTH V2.0 EDR DONGLE WIRELESS ADAPTERs arrived on schedule and as described (as far as that description went.)
Unfortunately, they both had the same MAC address so the only use for the second adapter was as a backup or to give to a friend.
Obviously the duplicate addresses means they could not be used in any two of my devices as I had planned when I ordered two.

I bought these dongles to use with my Bluetooth headphones (Sony DR-BT50) without any real research as at the $1.99 price these are throw away if they didn't work. Turns out they work just fine (I was actually a little surprised at this.).

These are CSR Bluetooth radios and they install in Windows 7 x64 with no downloads. Just plug in and it worked. Connecting to the headphones was easy, just click add device in the Devices and Printers window. Everything loaded and worked first try.

The headphones sound good with the Bluetooth (as good as when connected to any other device, iPod, MP3 player, etc.). At this price you can't really go wrong.

I thought that any usb bluetooth adapter would basically be the same. I was extremely happy I didn't have to pay $20-$50 for a usb bluetooth adapter like most local/online shops sell them for. When I got these I inserted the usb device in my windows 7 pc and it loaded up all the drivers and I was off. When I paired my headphones or a headset the quality was just awful and devices would just disconnect or not even want to connect anymore. There was a consistent sound almost sounded like someone clapping that was present in all devices that had a mic, skype would constantly tell me I have a lot of back noise when it was silent here. I tried both usb adapters and same thing, I even got there drivers and they would not work at all. For those who like to try and save money, here is my advise about these bluetooth adapters. If you need this for file transfer or attaching a peripheral device they should work fine, but if you want good quality sound when talking with a friend or family member on skype or something alike pass and get a better quality adapter.

Worked out of the box on windows 7 ultimate x64. Exactly what I needed.

It works with the two applications I use it with and I am now able to plug my Wii Mote on my computer fast and easy. There's no delay at all.

Doesn't work with MotionJoy ps3 controller driver just yet, but I sent info about the dongle to the devs. Probably will work on next driver update.

I mean it works. Like someone mentioned they both have the same MAC address but that's fine. I only needed one and bought this in case one was broken. The main reason I bought this was because I have a pair of sennheiser bluetooth headphones and wanted to listen to, well anything on my desktop. It works and Windows didn't even need to do anything to install it. All I had to do was pair the headphoens to the PC via "add a device" and it worked. No complications.

Now the bluetooth stream works. But definitely not for audio. When I started listening to music I got scared that my headphones were broken or were dying. Nah... It's just the stream.

Im not sure what they're good for, but it's not for music streaming. If you're going to use it for general podcasts and such, it could be ok.
